As 2017 has just begun, so have new discussions on medical cannabis and its recreational use around the country. Senator Margaret Rose Henry of Delaware spoke of it being time to look at going that direction regarding recreational legalization at a meeting recently. With more than five states already approving and more to come this year there appears to be no denying the movement in front of us.
A few states to keep your eye on this year are, Delaware who is seeking full legalization for adults. Vermont, Rhode Island, Texas appear to be trending the same direction. Even with New Jersey's Governor Chris Christie on the opposite side of the movement, it appears the state will be looking into the getting into involved. Finally Missouri, with two bills that could bring medical cannabis state wide were filed in December.
This year is already set to be one that will be remembered in history. Let's see how historic it will be.
